Sometimes what one needs to say, or wants to say, is neatly done by somebody else! So, why create new content when they've already done it. These people have created a page on their website, and this is what they say.
They're trying to make simple statements as to why wheatgrass juice is so sensible for people to drink. So, here is what Madam Toussaint says.
You stand to benefit in many ways from adding this juice to your diet. It can help offset so many of the negative things we do to ourselves like eating poor diets or even living in polluted environments.
What is Wheatgrass juice?
It’s the juice from wheatgrass of course, and wheatgrass is literally the grass of wheat. Before the wheat grows into the golden-tan stalks we recognize as wheat it starts out as a grass in its young stage. Wheatgrass juice is the green juice from young wheat.
Wheatgrass juice is rich in chlorophyll and nutrients like the vegetation that is the primary food source for most mammals. It’s a great source of energy, high quality vitamins, minerals, enzymes and protein. We know greens are good for us.
It’s got a bit of a sweet taste to it because it has simple sugar (glucose). It tastes like raw greens. I drink mine with juiced garlic and ginger which can be upsetting to some stomachs.
You can probably get some at your local health food store. It’s usually made fresh. A fistful of grass is cut from a tray full of grass, juiced and served in a small shot glass, smaller than the cup you get on a bottle of cough syrup. It’s potent. It tastes potent and drinking more than that when the body isn’t used to it can lead to nausea and even vomiting.
