You know, everyone’s telling you, get more greens in your life. Granny said it, probably a mother said it, and ultimately many of us come wise to the wisdom, usually after having resisted following the advice.

For some time, I’ve known about Steve Meyerwitz. To many he is also known as The Sproutman. He’s also written a fantastic book, called Wheatgrass: Nature's Finest Medicine. I had the good fortune to hear him speak in the summer, and erudite he is too.

Although he would prefer to see everybody eating outdoor grown wheatgrass, he knows that we all have to compromise in our daily lives. Hence, we’re left with two options. Or maybe three? One of these is to take the powders or tablets. The second is to acquire a frozen source. The latter is really only for those who don’t mind the environmental impact, requiring much ice and plastic to deliver it to you frozen.

The second option is to consider powders. There’s no doubt that these are easily transportable, and require no thought about storage. However, the third option is the one that interests me, albeit for somewhat vested reasons.

After all, I did produce wheatgrass juice for many years. I know that the liquid juice is the best option. One of the best ways to acquire it is our revolutionary new method of being able to bottle it fresh, and retain the nutrients from the leaves.  And......that also goes for our wonderful broccoli sprout juice and its pleasing values - you can find them referred to elsewhere.

Through revolutionary packaging, we are able to also preserve the juice for a significant length of time, being nearly 2 months. Through packing in single-shot tubes, and extracting every last little bit of air, this is how the shelf-life is generated. This is achieved at ambient temperature.

Therefore, no need to freeze or refrigerate. Simple packs posted through the letterbox, delivered by normal Royal Mail. Simple!
