What is society to do? We believe we have free speech in the West. However, to believe that would be wrong. We may be able to say more than those living under a true dictatorship, but at times the politically correct are excessively dominant. This has now stretched unquestionably to the “scientifically correct”.

Would you grow your own wheatgrass juice, or let the professionals do it and deliver it to your doorstep?                               

I saw earlier the Hippocrates Centre in Florida talking about how cheap it is to grow wheatgrass juice. Maybe over there in regular 80F heat all year round!

Without doubt it's the best of the green juices!

This is a totally natural compound, found in quite a number of cruciferous plants. The big bonus for us humans is that it is a great assistant in providing us with an antioxidant function in our bodies.

I recently became involved in a debate about what form was best with wheatgrass juice, and the relative economics. In discussing this, I'm naturally precluding that you're growing and juicing your own. If you are, well done! It's just that for many it becomes a chore too much, too much time is consumed, they don't have the space etc.

One lady related how she was buying frozen wheatgrass shots.

Broccoli is a green vegetable from the brassica family. This group also includes cabbage, cauliflower, kale, turnips and many more. It has been said many times before, but when your mother was telling you to "eat up your greens" she was spot on the money. She may not have understood why this was such a good policy, or the scientific reasons behind it, but she was nonetheless right.

There is a perpetual debate about the relative values of hydroponically grown wheatgrass as opposed to field grown. There may never be a satisfactory and conclusive answer, but naturally proponents of either option hang on to belief that what they’re doing is right.

I'm often challenged by people who think that they would like to grow their own wheatgrass, and believe that it's going to be simple and avoid the need to acquire it in other ways. And it's well worth reading this list of FAQs, from one of the people/places where the grower is probably as knowledgeable as anyone else in the world about growing wheatgrass. It's far from easy, and there are plenty of trip points that you can be upended by.
